As of next Saturday Jason’s Pet Care will be operating full time!  Drop us a line to book walks and sits seven days a week, 7am-10pm Monday-Friday Saturday 9am-9pm, and Sun 12pm-9pm. We look forward to hearing from you!

February is “I Love NYC Pets” month, described by the Mayor’s Alliance as “A City-Wide Celebration of Pets Throughout the Month of February”. We’ll never turn down a chance to celebrate our pets! Of course those of us with pets know they deserve to be celebrated everyday, but this serves as a good reminder to those who have yet to experience the benefits of literal puppy love.

You can get yourself geared up for a month of pet appreciation by visiting the Mayor’s Alliance/A Tail at a Time adoption van that will be parked outside of the Apple store on West 68th street tomorrow from 12-5pm.  Maybe we’ll see you there!

Love is in the air over at Ollie’s Place, where Solomon and Bruno will be wedded in “catrimony” on January 27th.  What a creative way to celebrate animal bonding, and just in time for Valentine’s Day!

For our human clients with romance on their minds, know that you can entrust your pet’s care to us while you have a romantic weekend or late night out with your special someone. Call or message now to schedule  walks and visits for Valentine’s weekend.

Check your local listings and prep your TiVo because the February 9th episode of NOVA on PBS will feature this gorgeous gal, Chaser, who was also profiled recently in the New York Times.  Chaser is getting press not just for her good looks, but for her stunning ability to demonstrate an understanding of some 1,000 nouns…that’s one smart pooch!

Janine and I wanted to wish you all and your four-legged loved ones a very happy 2011!  Our resolution is to take JPC to the next level- by this spring I hope to have our services available full time.  Thanks to all our clients for a wonderful 2010, and we can’t wait to see what 2011 will bring!
