Adopt Your Doggelganger

Well, if you live in New Zealand that is. But this incredibly fun facial recognition software by NEC Technology and sponsored by Pedigree is no doubt going be in demand at American shelters. This interactive program takes your photo, then pairs you up with your “doggelganger” – a dog available for adoption that also shares your facial features.

Now certified in pet first aid and CPR!

Today we got certified in pet first aid and CPR through  the American Safety and Health Institute via the 92nd Street Y. We had a great time with our instructor and classmates, and are proud to be furthering our commitment to the care of your pets.

Local Kitties Need New Home

We have a local friend-of-a-friend situation- there are three cats here in Astoria that need to re-homed due to a child with severe allergies. The family is heartbroken and really want to find a loving home for their cats. If you are interested in one or all,  please contact us ASAP and we’ll get more details for you.
